Residents looking to specialize in vascular and endovascular surgery won't find anywhere finer than the University of Virginia. Consistently recognized as one of the top residency programs in the country, residents will receive training to excel in both academic and private practice positions
Our program spans the continuum of care: from pre operative assessment, plan and execution of operations, critical care management, post operative recovery, and post surgical follow up evaluation. Residents are exposed to a variety of surgical and endovascular surgical treatments- from standard surgerical to new and innovative technologies.
We currently have seven separate research studies underway to improve vascular research techniques and outcomes. Our department has numerous collaborations within the University and with academics at other institutions.
Every Vascular Surgery researcher is dedicated to better results for patients in our clinic. Your contribution, whatever its size, can help ensure we are able to offer the best care based on advanced medical research.
Just because you don't have symptoms of vascular disease doesn't mean you aren't at risk. We offer screenings every week at Northridge Medical Park. If you believe you may be at risk for vascular disease, a screening can help to avoid serious and costly illnesses.
