Translational Genomics Transplant Core

The Genomics Transplant Translational Core’s research is aimed at improving outcomes and quality of life for patients. For example, we are developing biomarkers capable of providing earlier diagnoses for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant patients, which will allow treatments to be given sooner and more likely to be successful. Our research interests also include cirrhosis and hepatitis C infection, hepatocellular carcinoma, and liver cancer; RNA, DNA, and protein isolations; and DNA sequencing and gene expression.
