Hello, my name is Rachel. I grew up in a military family, but I spent a lot of time in Virginia. I went to William & Mary for undergrad and then moved up the road to attend the University of Virginia (UVA) for medical school.

I have really enjoyed living in Charlottesville so far and I am excited to continue to spend more time here to continue to explore the area. The city has already changed so much in my four years here! In my free time I like tackling various hikes in the surrounding Blue Ridge, heading back home to spend time at Virginia Beach, or running around town on the various trails. UVA has been an excellent place to train and in my opinion sets the standard for collegiality.
