Hey, my name is Maneesh Koneru, I was born in India and grew up in Connecticut. I went to undergrad at the University of Connecticut and came to Charlottesville after for medical school here at the University of Virginia (UVA). I’m looking forward to starting my surgery career here surrounded by faculty who are excellent educators and this group of wonderful residents.

It’s an awesome learning environment that pushes you to become a thoughtful and skilled clinician, plus it’s in a great little city stocked with everything from beautiful hiking trails, a buzzing live music scene, and Charlottesville even hosts an annual film festival. Outside the hospital, I love playing and watching basketball, watching movies, and making music on FL Studio
