I was born and raised in North Carolina and studied economics at Davidson. After college, I moved to the Washington, D.C. area to work in business and marketing for several years before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. I attended the University of Virginia (UVA) for medical school and am fortunate to have matched at UVA for residency. I live in Charlottesville with my husband and son. We enjoy trying new restaurants, visiting wineries, and exploring the outdoors.
