William Kane, MD
Medical School: Wayne State University
I’m from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. I grew up playing soccer and running track, which I continued at the University of Michigan as a member of the running club. I studied business at Michigan and completed internships in medical administration before attending Wayne State University School of Medicine in downtown Detroit. I finished two marathons during medical school and continue to explore the trail running in Charlottesville. I’m currently interested in surgical oncology and colorectal surgery as well as clinical outcomes research.
