Christine Tran, MD
Surgery Resident
Medical School: University of Virginia
I am from Richmond, Virginia, and moved an hour west to Charlottesville to attend the University of Virginia for undergrad, where I majored in Neuroscience, and have been very fortunate to stay for medical school and residency (Triple Hoo!). Our program is one of a kind because of its incredible residents and faculty, strong sense of camaraderie and collegiality, and unwavering support, which are a few of the many reasons regarding why I have stayed at UVA. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, eating at restaurants, making charcuterie boards, traveling, visiting National Parks, hiking, collecting fun socks, and tending to my numerous houseplants.
