Anthony Normon, MD

1st Year Resident
Medical School: Tufts University

Hey everyone! My name is Anthony Norman. I was raised in Chelsea, MA, which is just north of Boston. I went to Boston College where I majored in biology and met my lovely wife! I subsequently spent a year doing clinical outcomes research in cardiac surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before going to Tufts University School of Medicine. What captured my attention about UVA was the amazing residents that I met here. Everyone was incredibly friendly and it felt like I was talking with friends who I had known for years rather than someone who I had met a few hours ago. After meeting everyone and seeing all that the residents had accomplished, I knew this was the place that I wanted to be. It set the bar really high and still exceeds my expectations.

In my free time I enjoy playing basketball, running, and swimming. I’ve also always loved the performing arts and took several acting and dance classes growing up. Now, I like to catch the occasional play or performance when I get a chance.
